I found this place in the middle of 2024, when someone posted about possible creamy hummus in the area. All the usual suspects got mentioned, along with this store that I just had not frequented before. The poster also mentioned their baba was wonderful. I have tried baba everywhere and was always on the lookout for some super baba. Flash forward six months and I have had probably 50 containers of the baba (comes in the 8 oz or 16 oz plastic containers). I have been hooked on their shawarma (both chicken or beef) and, for my palate, feels it's the best that that I have been able to find (yes, I am aware of two places close to here that posters contend is the best shawarma around). What makes it it me is that they include all the add-ons - lettuce, tomato, onions, turnips, cucumber, sauce, hot sauce if requested. Love that overly stuffed shawarma that is filled with everything. I feel the falafel is probably one of the top 3 in northeastern Ohio. I have bought their chicken numerous times and find that is excellent. It is fresh - good white color, not dark yellow. Dates listed are very current. Smells fine. Tastes fine. The store has a nice selection of your arabic grocery staples like pitas from Jasmine, pickled jarred products, dates, oils, fresh produce, refrigerated cheeses, etc. Shocking to see that no one has left a review for them in the last 3 years. Well I am and I highly, highly recommend you go in to check them out. Employees are plentiful. Prices are compatible to the other markets on Lorain Road. Oddly they do not appear to sell stuffed grape leaves, garlic sauce, hot sauce or items like prepared fava beans with olive oil. But what they do have, and the quality of it, more than makes up for a few of these items that I buy elsewhere.

Ordered catering for a family event. Everything was fresh and really good. We ordered hummus and pita, rice, an olive tray, salad, grilled chicken, beef, and kefta, and fried chicken and jojo potatoes. The rice and hummus are the best I've ordered from anywhere in the area. I highly recommended if looking for something different or a healthy alternative.

West Town Village Market is a market with a somewhat unique and hodgepodge selection of goods including numerous fruit nectars, plenty of Goya-brand hispanic products, whole spices, pitas, and curry powders. It seems more South American, Middle East and south Asian but no chinese or Japanese products. I mainly came for the random food stall in the back. There was just one man running the whole thing and the operation honestly didn't inspire a lot of confidence. There were flies around and the guy's COVID mask was on his chin instead of over his face, both seem risky when your meat is sitting out on a vertical broiler. My friend and I still got a schwarma to go though given the good reviews on yelp. We were able to walk around the small market twice before we got our food but overall it was pretty good. The chicken was well-seasoned and a little dry but there's a generous amount of garlicky hummus sauce and pickles that added the much needed moisture and acid to the wrap. Everything was well proportioned and the portion size was satisfying for only being $7. Overall I can see why people like this place, it's definitely a hidden, authentic, and tasty place to grab middle eastern food. If you're the type of person that's cool with food cart level sanitation, this place is a decent place to grab a bite.

This is a really cool grocery store and deli. The falafel sandwich was outstanding. I highly recommend getting it exactly how they serve it - Don't sans anything! The flavors were awesome and the grocery was vast with meats, produce and boxed items. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

Great selection of products, good prices, and the hot foods counter is amazing. Check out the menu I uploaded - everything I had was great and freshly prepared. So cheap, very easy to fill even a big appetite for $10 or under. The baba ghanoush is my new addiction, cheaper than at western grocery stores and better tasting! Also has local pita bread, which I usually am able to get at Marc's, but nice to have options anyway. Produce is decent, the persian cucumbers were one thing stood out that you can't get many places and were cheap. All in all, highly recommend stopping by if just for the hot foods counter. Grab a kabob sandwich and some Arabic juice and head down to Edgewater for a great afternoon!

I love this store. I was in search of my first hookah and the gentleman behind the counter helped me greatly. Although i live on the east side I'll make the 10 mile drive for halal foods and hookah supplies.

It is a great store with rich selection of grocery items, fruit and produce section, cafeteria and more. I tried their chicken shawarma, and it is the best I can find in the area. I wish the could keep their store cleaner and put signs for Halal meat so that I can trust them with confidence, instead of with concern.

The best Middle Eastern market in town, hands down. Courteous and helpful staff, ownership cares about the customer experience. I purchased a hookah from here; I couldn't be happier with it or the deal I was given.

One bite of fresh falafel from this Garaweeya Market will have you saying, "SubhanAllah" no matter if you are Born a Muslim , a convicted convert , or just waking up and Stumbling along that Straight Path ...
